Jack Hunt Academy Student Selected to Represent Team GB at World Championships

Jack Hunt Academy is celebrating the outstanding achievement of one of its students, Hussnain, who has been selected to represent Team GB at the Tang Soo Do World Championships in Chicago this July
Hussnain, a dedicated martial artist and current Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, has been training for over a decade. Through years of commitment, discipline, and perseverance, he has progressed to compete at regional, national, and European levels, earning the title of Junior National Grand Champion.
The opportunity to compete on the world stage marks a significant milestone in Hussnain’s journey and reflects the core values of Jack Hunt Academy: hard work, integrity, and kindness. His dedication to both his sport and personal development embodies the ethos the school strives to instil in all its students.
Hussnain said: "I’m really grateful to JHA for their huge support. It’s a massive honour to represent Team GB and my club on the world stage , and I’m especially thankful to my mum for everything she’s done for me. I’m excited for what’s ahead and ready to give it everything I’ve got at the World Championships"
Hussnain will travel to Chicago accompanied by his mother, who has supported him throughout his training and competitive career. However, attending an international event comes with considerable costs, including travel, accommodation, and competition fees.

Jack Hunt Academy is proud to support Hussnain in his journey and is encouraging the wider community to get behind him. A fundraising campaign has been launched to help make this opportunity possible, and any support, whether through donations or by sharing the page would be greatly appreciated.
Headteacher Mr Hebblethwaite said:
