DRAMA
Our Drama department aims to develop confident, creative individuals capable of critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication, through exploring performance, theatre history, and technical theatre, and to prepare learners for higher education and creative careers.
The curriculum aims to produce confident, well-rounded learners of good character who will have developed life-long skills through their experience of drama at Jack Hunt Academy; relevant and transferable for any career path a student at Jack Hunt may wish to take. The curriculum is child-centred, taking into consideration the diverse backgrounds of our learners and provides equal opportunities for all learners. We have high expectations and learners must be fully committed and ambitious in their learning in every lesson. Drama lessons are enjoyable and stimulating, providing a high quality of education for our learners, and the curriculum develops high levels of knowledge and skill, which can lead to study at university level and beyond; Jack Hunt students could be the next generation of professionals working in the Creative Arts Sector.
