Sporting Successes - A Fantastic Week of Sport at Jack Hunt Academy
It has been an excellent week for sport at Jack Hunt Academy, with students across several year groups putting in outstanding performances and representing the school with pride
A particular highlight came from the Year 7 girls’ football team, who delivered a brilliant performance to secure a 4–2 victory against QKA. The team showed great teamwork, determination and skill throughout the match, setting the tone for a successful week of girls’ football.
The success continued with the Year 8/9 girls’ team, who produced an impressive attacking display to defeat QKA 7–3, demonstrating excellent confidence in front of goal and strong teamwork across the pitch.
Meanwhile, the Year 10/11 girls’ team also performed strongly, battling hard in a competitive match to earn a 2–2 draw against QKA.
It wasn’t just football bringing success this week. Our KS3 boys’ dodgeball team achieved a fantastic accomplishment by winning the PDSSA Dodgeball competition for the second year in a row – a brilliant achievement that reflects their skill, teamwork and determination.
Well done to all students who represented the academy this week. Your commitment, effort and sportsmanship continue to make the school proud.
