Celebrating Sporting Excellence: Over 100 Students Recognised at Rewards Breakfast

This week, more than 100 students from across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 were invited to a special Rewards Breakfast in recognition of their outstanding commitment to sport outside of school.

Held during tutor time, the event brought together students who regularly dedicate their time to training, competitions and sporting achievements beyond the classroom. Their commitment ranges from early morning swimming sessions and weekend tournaments to county-level athletics, football, martial arts, dance, gymnastics and many more disciplines.

A highlight of the morning was the display of photographs showing each student in action, proudly positioned beside them. These images celebrated the diversity of sporting talents within our school community and offered a glimpse into the determination, passion and resilience our young athletes show every week.

Students enjoyed a generous breakfast spread as staff congratulated them individually for their hard work, dedication and positive representation of the school. The event aimed not only to acknowledge achievement, but also to inspire students to continue pursuing their sporting interests with confidence and enthusiasm.

We are incredibly proud of all the students who were recognised. Their commitment to sport enriches both their personal development and our wider school community. Congratulations once again to all involved — keep pushing your limits and doing what you love!
